The TM12 ENT Chair Package includes a TMM5-TB Surgical Stretcher-Chair with these Options and Accessories:

The TM12 mobile stretcher-chair features motorized patient positioning for both back and leg sections as well as a low/high height adjustment. It has an 500 lb. patient weight capacity.  The TM10 features an Articulating Headpiece, comfortable 4 inch memory foam Cushions, and numerous Options and Accessories. The package is designed to meet the demanding needs of ENT medical and surgical procedures some of which include:

Ear
  • Myringotomy (tubes for chronic ear infections)
  • Stapedectomy (all or partial removal of middle ear bone)
  • Tympanoplasty (reconstruction of ear drum)
  • Cochlear Implant (inserted device to stimulate nerve ends to enable hearing)
  • Otoplasty (surgical correction of ear lobe)
Nose
  • Sinus Surgery
  • Septoplasty (correction of deviated septum)
  • Congestion (chronic nasal obstruction)
Throat
  • Tonsillectomy (removal of infected tonsils)
  • Adenoidectomy (removal of adenoids, located higher behind tonsils)
  • LAUP (Laser-Assisted Uvula Palatoplasty - removal of uvula tissue to treat snoring, ostructed breath during sleep apnea)
  • Laryngectomy (removal of larynx)
  • Tracheotomy (opening made in the trachea to alleviate obstructed breathing)
  • Radical Neck Dissection
With the TM12 you no longer have to transfer the patient from stretcher to surgical table and back.  The patient enters the unit in chair position in pre-op, staff press a button to convert the chair to stretcher position, roll the patient into surgery for the procedure, then press a button to set the stetcher to the preferred surgeon heigh, then roll the patient to post-op to recover in a comfortalbe reclining position. The TM12 eliminates the need for patient transfer and manual positioning during their entire stay, thereby reducing patient fall and staff injury risk. Eliminating transfers also provides greater patient throughput.

All TransMotion Medical Stretcher-Chairs come standard with the Quick Release back section for emergency CPR function.

TM12 Pads


TransMotion Medical offers the industry's best cushions with memory foam. Cushions are 4" (10.16cm) thick, and sealed to prevent fluid from coming into contact with the memory foam. The TM12 ENT Chair Package comes in the  Sure-Chek® Blue Fushion II fabric only.

08/2010 - All TMM chairs now come standard with chrome rails.
04/2010 - Red Caster Sticker added to inside, right front caster to offer guidance for gaining proper direction when locking steer caster.
07/2009 - Back and Seat Cushion now a single cushion, instead of two, for patient comfort.
