Multi-Purpose Stretcher-Chair Series
TransMotion Medical is committed to reducing staff injury, patient fall risk and improving patient throughput. The TMM4 Series Stretcher-Chair is the perfect solution. This versatile device can be configured for a department's specific need through a broad group of structural Options (items mounted at the factory) and Accessories (items that can be added and removed in the field). In addition it can reduce the amount of equipment needed as it is: a chair, a transport device, a procedure device, a surgical table, and a stretcher. It's popularly known as a Universal Care Platform™. Patients can go from admission, to procedure, to discharge all on ONE surface with no transfers!

- Seat Height is low to high adjustable. Comes with standard dual column.

- Cushioned, Chrome Side Rails protect the patient during transport and procedures, then swing down and tuck away for easy patient side ingress and egress.

TMM4 Options
OPTIONS are items mounted at the factory, annotated in reverse alpha order after the model number. Example: TMM4-XWTRFEB
NOTES:
- "X" Seat Tilt is not compatible with the "Q" scale option.
- "R" folding upper Rails are only compatible with the "W"-Wide 28" width option.
- If "R" folding upper Rails are ordered, you lose the radiolucent back for radiologic procedures. Consider the Add-On Upper Rails Accessory that are removable (Part #: TMA52-15) if you require radiolucent back.
- If "R" folding upper Rails and "X" Seat Tilt Options are ordered together, it will reduce Trendelenburg by 10 degrees
- "G" removeable headpiece for ENG testing does not allow for a radiolucent back.
How TMM4-X (Seat Tilt Option) differs from the standard TMM4:
- 10-button Positioning Pendant (vs. 8-button)
- 20° Trendelenburg (vs. 6°)
- Surgical Support Leg Accessory included
- No Foot Rest (Can be fitted for an "F" for an additional charge)
- Features a 3 inch longer base and 73 inch patient surface
- Brakes are located in the middle of the base (both sides)
- Different Oxygen Tank Holder design

Packages
Package stretcher-chairs are specific to medical specialty and cost less than ordering the chair with these options and accessories individually. Packages are only available in Blue Fushion II 4-way stretch fabric.:

TMM4 Pads
TransMotion Medical offers the industry's best cushions with memory foam. Cushions are 4" (10.16cm) thick, and sealed to prevent fluid from coming into contact with the memory foam.
There are TWO Fabric Options for cushions:
- Fushion II 4-Way Stretch fabric by Sure-Chek®
- Custom Color AVANT Vinyl by cfstinson®
4-WAY STRETCH FUSHION II FABRIC
The Sure-Chek® Blue Fushion II fabric comes standard on all TransMotion stretcher-chairs, unless another preference is stated at the time of order.
Two other Fushion colors are also available for a minimal upcharge: Teal Green and Black.

Sure-Chek® medical fabrics were developed in cooperation with healthcare professionals to provide fabrics that are comfortable, safe and effective for use in healthcare facilities. These thermoplastic fabric composites are strong, durable, antimicrobial, antistatic, flame resistant, stain, odor, and fluid resistant.
Sure-Chek® brand medical fabrics are enhanced by a controlled release system, which enables the “slow release” of a specially formulated antimicrobial system to the fabric surface, lasting for the life of the medical fabric.

PAD FLAMMABILITY RATING
TransMotion Medical offers TWO California Technical Bulletin rated pad sets:
Standard TMM cushions are “Mattress” flammability rated: CA TB-117.
TMM also offers a higher rated mattress flammability rating: CA TB-129 pad sets upon request, for an additional charge.
TMM4 Updates
01/2012 - Switched from Boltaflex to cfstinson AVANT vinyl option for cushions
04/2011 - TMA04X-15 Oxygen Tank Holder Accessory moved to patient's LEFT on base section (For units with "X" seat tilt option)
04/2011 - Storage bracket for optional foot pedal accessory moved from back section to under the base for more convenient storage.
08/2010 - Back Section Changed for Standard 24" width TMM4 chairs, which changed the width of the cassette holder as well.
08/2010 - Default Cushion color now Blue Fushion II 4-way stretch for all models, unless customer requests an additional color.
08/2010 - All TMM chairs now come standard with chrome rails.
04/2010 - Red Caster Sticker added to inside, right front caster.
12/2008 - Cushion thickness increased to 4 inches for added patient comfort, which also increased the height of the side rails
