TransMotion Medical was founded by Raymond A. Failor in 2003 after 35+ years developing innovative Specialty Medical Procedure Chairs with the former Hausted Inc. A team of other former Hausted personnel that have extensive background in the specialty treatment chair market joined Mr. Failor to create TransMotion Medical.

TransMotion Medical designs, manufactures and distributes its line of Specialty Medical Procedure Chairs from its facility in Sharon Center, Ohio. Products include the TMM3 Video Fluoroscopy Chair, TMM4 Multi-Purpose Treatment Chair and TMM5 Surgical Stretcher Chair. TransMotion Medical is an ISO 9001 : 2000 Certified Company. Its complete product line is FDA listed plus UL and CE certified.

The company maintains an experienced national and international sales force of independent representatives and distributors that focuses on the Ophthalmic, Outpatient/Same Day Surgery, Radiology, E.R., Critical Care, Speech Pathology/Rehab, ENT, O.R. and Plastic Surgery arenas.
